With select iPhone models, Precision Finding can guide you directly to your nearby AirTag. If it’s farther away, the vast Find My network, comprising hundreds of millions of Apple devices, can help locate it—all while ensuring your privacy with anonymous and encrypted tracking.

Compatibility:
Precision Finding is compatible with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Battery Life:
In testing conducted by Apple in March 2021, preproduction AirTag units paired with iPhone models like the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 demonstrated reliable battery life with typical daily use, including four sound plays and one Precision Finding event per day. Actual battery life may vary based on usage, environmental conditions, and other factors.

Durability:
AirTag is splash, water, and dust resistant, rated IP67 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes). However, resistance may diminish over time with normal wear. For optimal care, refer to the Safety and Handling documentation for cleaning and drying instructions.
